Monash Uni – Language Methodology For Early Years (Primary Focus( May 24 – Aug 02 This course aims to provide teachers working in community language schools with an understanding of the principles, skills, and teaching methods of second language acquisition and teaching in their community language EY and Primary classrooms.This course provides the opportunity to discuss, evaluate and trial a range of effective teaching
strategies, language activities, and resources in a series of linked activities based upon appropriate content selected for participants’ learner groups.
The emphasis of this course will be Classroom Positive Management, Lesson Planning,
Curriculum and Scoping and Sequencing a term, semester, or annual program.
RMIT Uni – LOTE Methodology Ph III – Chinese Oct 19– Dec 07 This language methodology course will provide professional learning and networking for teachers who work in community Chinese language schools in Victoria, Australia. It is suitable for Chinese-teaching community language teachers and instructors who may have or have not acquired a formal teaching qualification in Australia. This course is designed in the context of the Victorian Government’s Vision for Languages Education, the Victorian Curriculum F-10 (Languages), and the VCE languages exams. The course design accentuates the significant role and contribution of Victorian community language schools through explicit links to up-todate theories in language education.
RMIT Uni – LOTE Methodology Ph I – Mixed Level Oct 20 – Dec 08 This language methodology course will provide professional learning and networking for teachers of all languages who work in community language schools in Victoria, Australia. It is suitable for community language teachers who may have or have not acquired a formal teaching qualification in Australia. This course is designed in the context of the Victorian Government’s Vision for Languages Education, the Victorian Curriculum F-10 (Languages), and VCE language exams. The course design accentuates the significant role and contribution of Victorian community language schools through explicit links to up-to-date theories in language education.
RMIT Uni – LOTE Methodology Ph I – Chinese Level Oct 21 – Dec 09 This Level 1 language methodology course will provide professional learning and networking for teachers who work in community Chinese language schools in Victoria, Australia. It is suitable for Chinese-teaching community language teachers and instructors who may have or have not acquired a formal teaching qualification in Australia. This course is designed in the context of the Victorian Government’s Vision for Languages Education, the Victorian Curriculum F-10 (Languages), and the VCE languages exams. The course design accentuates the significant role and contribution of Victorian community language schools through explicit links to up-to-date theories in language education
Vu Uni – LOTE Methodology Ph I & II – Vietnamese Oct 18- Nov 22 This course, which combines Phase 1 and Phase 2, is structured in a special way so that very little content from the phase 1 will be repeated but it will not be too difficult for those attending the training course for the first time.

At the end of the course, (1) those teachers who have already completed phase 1 will receive the phase 2 certificate; and (2) those who attended for the first time will receive a phase 1 certificate and can attend the phase 2 course which will be held in semester 2, 2022.
