Community Languages Australia (CLA) and the Ethnic School Association of Victoria welcomes the Andrew’s Victorian State Budget announcement of $ 4m to community language schools over 4 years which will result in an increase of $25 per capita from 2017 to Community languages school

Victorian community languages schools receive the highest level of financial support nationally, receiving $215 per capital funding as of 2017 . In addition over $400 000 is provided for professional development and training .
