Expression of Interests—Major Programs (requests up to 50,000)
The Office of Multicultural Interests (OMI) is accepting expressions of interest (EOI) from eligible organisations for funding for major programs being delivered in 2017.
The deadline for EOI submissions is 5.00pm Monday 27 June 2016.
Following a review of all EOI submissions by OMI, successful applicants will be invited to prepare a full application to the next Major Programs funding round which will open on Monday 4 July 2016.

Next Community Grants Program funding round
The Community Grants Program (CGP) provides a range of funding for social, economic, cultural and civic activities that promote the benefits of Western Australia’s cultural diversity.
The grant round will open on Monday 4 July 2016 and close Friday 12 August 2016 for the following grants:
- Events and Activities (up to $5000)—applications for events and activities celebrating Harmony Week 15-21 March 2017 will be the priority of this round
- Small Projects ($5000–$20,000)
- Major Programs ($50,000)—application by invitation only, following an open expression of interest process.
Guidelines and application forms for these grants will be made available on the OMI website when the round opens.

Grant Writing Workshop
If you are planning to apply to the Community Grants Program and would like help with writing the application, OMI invites you to attend a Grant Writing Workshopon Wednesday 29 June 2016 from 5.00pm to 7.00pm at Gordon Stephenson House, 140 William Street, Perth.
Topics to be covered include:
- how to prepare a budget
- responding to funding criteria
- how to complete a project plan.
